Striper Flight

This Stripe Marlin like many Blue Marlin came up on a rigger teaser, first staying about 10 feet under it then disappearing in the depths. All of a sudden it came up on the other side grabbing the other rigger teaser and my client Hook tossed a pitch bait and we landed this 200lb Stripe Marlin.

Here in Carrillo, Costa Rica between January – April you have one of the best chances to catch anyone of these Marlin. Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Stripe Marlin and Sail fish are in abundance here in Carrillo Costa Rica also, check us out in Flamingo Costa Rica from April – December for more action like Black Marlin, Blue Marlin , Yellow Fin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and huge Rooster fish.
